Anybody recommend any good ones?

I have:

1. Dictionary Lookup: Gives definition for any highlighted word on your screen.
2. Fire FTP: Handy little FTP tool built into your browser.
3. Greasemonkey: Enhanced features for RHP.
4. Linkification: Turns on-screen web addresses into clickable links.

EDIT: I have "stumbleupon" at work. Finds interesting sites that match your interests.

I have some of those, and in addition:

Adblock Plus (a must)
Adblock Filterset.G Updater
Foxmarks Bookmark Synchronizer (great if you use Firefox on different machines)
Image Zoom (a must)
Mouse Gestures (I use them very little on my laptop because I don't find them very practical with a mouse pad, but they are great when using a mouse)

I use the last three as well. Two more that I have and use:

Remove it Permanently
Adblock

I have Oxford Talking Dictionary installed on my computer, so little need for another dictionay.

I like DownThemAll, which basically lets you ransack pages to get all the goodies in it. You can specify what kinds of files you want, and grab them all at once. Great for those musician sites where the music's free but every song is individually linked.

Check the developer forum.
Ouroboros at his busy best.

[edit: didn't see the Dr's reply there ...]

Download Status Bar is useful - eliminates the need for downloads to be tracked via the smaller window firefox defaults to.

Cool! Something to add to my list.

Here are mine:

Dictionary Tooltip - Dictionary definitions for selected words.
Linkification - Turn URLs into clickable links.
Tab Preview - When mousing over tabs, you see a miniture screenshot.
Greasemonkey - Allows you to run greasemonkey scripts.
StumbleUpon - A toolbar to let you randomly jump to cool (or not so cool) websites. They are based on votes.
IE Tab - Allow you to open a tab that renders using the IE engine. Useful for badly written websites that are only compatible in IE.

That Fire FTP extension looks interesting as well. Might look into that. 🙂

I'll have to try that dictionary thingy, that sounds pretty cool.

ReloadEvery - handy for monitoring pages that change without having to keep hitting 'reload'.

Make sure you get the correct one:

https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1171/

There is another one called Dictionary Lookup which isn't as good. Dictionary Tooltip actually opens up a miniture browser window linked directly a dictionary website. Also packed with a number of features.
