rotary blades (philashave)

I've tried it all, but the best razor I have ever used is that new Gillette that vibrates. There is no comparison.

anybody ever get any ingrowns?
i tend to get a few on the same spot ....left cheek.
anyone know how to stop/prevent/cure this?
Every shave I used to have a few ingrowns, but since I've switched to shaving oil, I've only had 1, and that was when I used my dads shaving gel.

A (paraphrased) conversation had recently with my boss:
"Did I tell you I was going to meet so-and-so for lunch today?"
"No, I don't think so, why?"
"Well, you know I don't care how you look, but the only harm from not shaving is that sometimes I can't ask you along on these meetings."
"Vic, if you want me to come clean-shaven every day, just tell me that and I'll do it."
"I don't pay you enough to say that."
Needless to say, I've been showing up shaved since then...

None of the electric razors work for me, and the 3 blade ones last for one shave. I have had to go back to a straight razor, least I no longer waste money on throw aways. Bit dangerous though. Need to make sure you have not been drinking and are fully awake.

Originally posted by fierceI think any kind of shaving oil works. Its a bit of a different shaving experience to gel/foam, but a hell of a lot better once u get used to it. It also lasts forever. I got a 15 ml bottle in Oz a year and a half ago and its still going strong. Admittedly, I only shave about once a week cos I hate it. I can't think of anything I'd less rather do. Well actually, as I wrote that, I thought of about 4 things straight away, but u know what I mean.
