I appreciate the very fine, even handed work forum moderators do in maintaining fantastic standards on RHP. I also understand that volunteers are hard to come by. However, isn't it a little odd that 3 of the nine forum moderators belong to the one clan? I'm not accusing any of the moderators of acting unfairly or unethically, but it might it not be better to avoid accusations of panel stacking?
Originally posted by CoconutIt makes good sense, but so does avoiding unfounded accusations by making sure the team is spread around the clans a bit more.
That happens to be a clan that some of the most active forum members are inclined to participate it. Does it not make sense for the most active forum members to be mods?
Originally posted by MissOleumI don't feel victimised and neither do I condone abusing mods. I'll consider your kind suggestion. Thanks. If more people did their bit, the load could be spread around and the whole issue could be avoided
Being abused is part of the job, we may not like it but we're used to it.
Those of you who feel victimised can apply to become moderators, just as I did - a simple "send feedback" was all it took.
Originally posted by drdonI agree; it would probably make life a bit easier for the mods, as accusations of being biased would be less convincing. On the other hand, they knew what they'd get into (or if they didn't, they could still resign), and the administrators apparently don't have a problem with it either.

There is one forum mod that has been here for a VERY long time and has no clan affiliations and is very unbiased.

Let's face it. Most Mod critisism of the past few weeks, has been entirely voiced against the fact that three mods are in the same clan. These three are constantly online, and actively participate in argument threads in a way that none of the other mods do.
Maybe a slightly bad decision on both the Admins, and the Mods in question. Just a point of view.

The forum component of RHP is a major strength. We (subscibers) can all benefit from building this strength byeliminating a few minor alleged gliches.
