Not only was my second post removed... I got a warning by an annonymous, so obviously scared or very unimportant moderator, stating that I may be banned and that I can't use "bad" language anymore.
1. My posts didn't contain bad language. I spell checked it all.
2. None of the words I used were non-English.
3. None of the words I used are on the pathetic: "Oooohh... you can't use them... they're nasty list".
And not only this, you can't reread his message and you can't reply to it!
TOSSER! (That, by the way, is someone who sticks by the TOS as if it were a bible...)

second, the moderators are unpaid and unappreciated, but without them these forums would be a complete waste of bandwidth.
third, what's wrong with sticking by the site rules? if you don't like the heat ... go and start your own website.

Read my post again. I didn't use "Bad" language in any of the contexts I can think of.
EDIT:
And anyway, just because things are the way they are is never an argument for not pushing boundaries. No friction = no change.

The term "bad language" is normally used for expressions which the more straightlaced members of the community usually regard as either abusive or unsuitable for your grandmother to read. It has nothing to do with incorrect English.

And, to be quite honest, if I don't feel like playing the game, I generally do tend to smack the players instead.
Is that what you mean?
Or are you referring to the first post you ever posted here? And if so, how the hell am I supposed to find that?
Originally posted by MissOleumOh. So you can only write that which EVERYONE thinks is suitable?

That's rubbish and you know it is. You can't please all the people all the time.
Inherently this train of thought (if I can call it thinking) leads to people watching soaps, dumbed down news and fly-on-the-wall documentaries about mundane and boring people.
I will have no part in it. Be fore-warned. If you don't like what I write, just don't bloody read it.
Shavixmir, it was not my intention to attack you personally, and I'm sorry if you've misunderstood me.
My reference to "my first point" was indeed to my comment on "playing the man" which is considered poor sportsmanship in my culture, i.e. attacking the messenger rather than the message.
My attempt to define "bad language" was a response to: 1. My posts didn't contain bad language. I spell checked it all. It seemed to imply that bad language was the same as poor spelling.
I wasn't commenting on your "bad language" because I couldn't - I didn't see your original post and have no idea what it said or in what thread. I was responding only to your own words in the first posting in this thread.
I'd agree with this statement: And anyway, just because things are the way they are is never an argument for not pushing boundaries. No friction = no change.

Inherently this train of thought (if I can call it thinking) leads to people watching soaps, dumbed down news and fly-on-the-wall documentaries about mundane and boring people. Again, we are in agreement.
If you don't like what I write, just don't bloody read it. Do you mean "just don't read it" which is somewhat difficult, or "just don't respond to it" which would deprive you of all opportunity to discuss, argue or explain what you really meant.
And a final point: I wish we didn't need moderators. I wish RHP could find a way to provide for people who have vastly different agendas to participate in the forums. But where you have two human beings, you can produce an argument.
