An untimely and regrettable title I must agree and foolish on my part. I picked it up on the radio with the story which really was of interest to me.
I’ve gave up on swimming in March 2020 after lockdown. At that time I was able to swim a mile. It had taken me ages, about 6 months to get there being 65. I had plans to return to open water swimming in the late spring. I ...[text shortened]... not having ever been professionally taught to swim. I couldn’t swim out of my depth until I was 17.
