I have to disagree when you say comedy at it's best. I say Monty Python takes that honour, but it is good.

I remember going to a theatre when And now for something completely different came out. There were 5 people there and I was the only one to laugh. That's when I thought, "You know they may be right. I am different". He, Neilson, was indeed , like Buster Keaton, very good at the "deadpan".
