I have posted not only confirmation from the new testament though but from encyclopedi ...[text shortened]... a thorough investigation of the available evidence. I'm sure you'll agree that's reasonable.

By 180 degrees i just meant you were as far away from the truth as possible, unless you interpreted my statement ultra-literally 🙂

I understand your "point" and I agree to a point. I, as well as you, know that people tend to "push things under the carpet" unless they are "pushed" which in this case means active discussion (if only a "progress" report). I am sure the people opposed to my views would greatly appreciate hearing (in this case seeing) any EVIDENCE you can provide that Paul was Jewish and as I contend the inventor (author if you prefer) of christianity as we know it.

You've shown yourself a true gentleman and I truly regret some of things I've said which were less than gentlemanly. Since you have expressed interest and since you are probably correct that someone else might be interested (although I often doubt if anyone but you and I reads this any more 🙂 ), I will post updates as and if significant developments come in my investigation. I won't commit myself to regular progress reports, as progress is sure to be slow. I also don't think I'll be interested in debate as it has so far gone. I mean, I'm genuinely grateful to you for giving me some important research to do. However, if my decision on the available evidence is different from yours, I don't intend to attempt proving its soundness to you or anyone else. I think sharing resources and evidence is VERY productive. The debating of conclusions, in this format, seems to have great potential for damage. I'm glad you and I have come through it so far without any hard feelings, and I won't risk the forming of any such feelings in the future. We can, if ultimately we must, consider each other unreasonable. In the meantime, feel free but not obliged to share anything else with me you'd like to.
