A rather snarky comment for a chimp to make.
I've always wanted try to replicate an SVW post. But I just can't come up with that particular style. He breaks every thought into a separate sentence using paragraph spacing, but the sentences are held together by this tiny, little thread of cohesion. It's almost impossible to tell what that is of course. At the end he really only had one point, but you have to go back and decipher every sentence, see how they connect, then try to pull the one main point from the whole structure at the end of it.
It's just too much. It's like trying to put a jigsaw puzzle together, but not being allowed to look at the completed picture on the box.

We should have a competition to see who can write most in the style of SVW. Toffee crisp to the winner. Of course, marks will be going for cohesion, relevancy, decipherability, SVW cliches, mention of chimps, ability to sustain a 1 manned conversation, etc.

Wouldn't it be hilarious to do this while in conversation with him?

Well I say we give it a shot. We'll have a pool and a SVW writing contest. Anyone care to give it a shot? We've got some great writers and wordsmiths around here. I'll certainly try, but my writing skills are nowhere near those of a lot of folks.
Now we need a point or grading system like Rags mentioned?
