-Removed-There was an occasion, back on June 24, 1970, when myself and two work colleagues decided that it’d be a good idea to head to Old Montreal for a few “wobbly oops”. The establishment we chose was raucous, what with it being Saint Jean-Baptistery day. After enjoying a couple of their finest beers one of my friends, a British educated, upper crust chap from Guyana thought it would be a good idea to infuse a bit of British tradition into the festivities and stood on the table and began to sing “God Save the Queen”. Not having had the chance to intervene before he began it was too late to “ hold him back” and as a result we were “roughly” ejected from the place…with relatively minor injuries.
@ponderable saidSeriously? How did you make out with that?
No.
I always try and always tried to deescalate way before that.
