Which gaming computers are good for multi massive online role play games? What is most important in a gaming computer? I am looking for one in the $1000 to $2000 range. P.S. That top line VooDoo PC cost as much as a car.

Before I try that I would like to have some idea of what I want or need so I will know what to tell them and what they are talking about.

Go for an AMD powered Quad SLI with 2 Nvidia 7900GX2 setup with 2 Gb RAM and for heaven's sake get a decent monitor which can actually display the graphics you're putting out.

Good processor, front side bus rate, video card and lots of ram, good screen.
Originally posted by gambit3As others have said, the best thing to do is of course to build the computer yourself. I reccomend checking out Dell and building something there. You can do pretty good for a good price. I built my computer for around $4000 but I went with top of the line for every part of it and it is in a server tower because of how much stuff is in it. Not sure what I'll ever do with close to 2 terabytes of disk space but hey the future awaits. I purchased everything from different sites for the best deals on the best stuff.

Originally posted by BridgePlayerDell suck, any person setting out to build their own PC should seek out advice sites and visit part suppliers, asking before they buy. Paying a multinational company reknowned for poor quality and system configurations which make replacing or upgrading parts as expensive as possible, is foolish.
