Here is what the book tells me about the Power Supply Unit so for. For servers, video work stations, top of the line gaming, and or multipule hard drives and burners you need 520 to 800 Watts. For the above, but with mid quality parts and or single uses you need 400 to 500 Watts. For light gaming, word processing and the internet you need 300 to 400 Watts. P.S. There was much more stated about the PSU then the wattage.
