When were you last generous?

Today I greeted all approaching fellow dog walkers with a friendly smile and a ‘Hi’ whilst keeping my wayward sheepdog under control with her leash and a soggy tennis ball in her mouth.

I managed this because I was listening to BBBOO which put me in a friendly, upbeat demeanour.

BBBOO is propelled by the generosity and team spirit of all those involved in making it.

Where's the generosity? Sounds like friendliness.

This sounds like something I could watch on YouTube which would save me from having to go out of the house.

Generosity of spirit?

Just an idea for a lighthearted thread I suppose.

Bill’s Big Bag of Onions. Ever listened to it?

There are some subsides and forms of support I give to my housekeeper and her family that my mother-in-law thinks are "generous" [read: "overly generous"], whereas I see them as being my responsibility and not charitable in nature.

I give my nephew a set amount each month.
He has a young family and his wife stays home to look after the children.

I'm always generous - everything to gain, nothing to lose. We can be generous in many different ways. Choose all!

Very true, I’ve read a similar thing - there’s nothing that quite improves a low self esteem than the positive reaction of another towards us for doing something good for them.

We are here to make it a better place.

I always tip taxi drivers here generously. I never know when I might benefit from their goodwill and need them to do the right thing by me if I am worse for drink or if I leave something - like my soggy tennis ball - behind in their car.
