Yeah nah I didn't know who this G.Best was until they showed us on tv3 news. A soccer legend right?

It was some old footage of him in an interview. He was saying that one day before a match, one of his team mates had made a bet with him.

The bet was- That he couldn't play a whole game, by using only 1 leg to touch the ball with. He took on the challenge but I can't remember if he chose L/R leg.

Anyhow, after a bit more chat, the interviewer ask Mr.B, "So how did you get on then?"

He calmly replied, "Oh I scored 3 goals that day".

How cool is that eh? 😏 Tu meke.

As you know, cirrhosis can be caused through drinking excessively.
Medical science has yet to identify the exact cause of alcoholism, but research suggests that genetic, psychological, and social factors influence its development. Drinking is what the disease makes people do.

Yea im with you on this one. I watched a programe last night about George' life. The guy was more interested in getting his NAT KING COLE than scoring goals.....erm maybe he was scoring goals!? Dont get me wrong I think he was one, if not the best player of all time, but life is short and George always said that he had no regrets, which is the most important thing.
