I found another statement that said devil bitches. I would like a correct and true translation and meaning. Surely there are some Germans in here that will tell me exactly what the Germans were calling the U.S. Marines they were fighting.

Teufel = Devil

Hund = Hound (Or dog)

I'd guess devil dogs.

The dog book has hunde for dogs. The thing that the U.S. Marines were called had hunden. One web page said that they were called bitches.

"Hunden" is the dative plural of "Hund", which means "dog". A female dog is a "Hündin".

You claim that teufelshunden means devildogs as the U.S. Marines say. One web page had teufelshunden and others had teufelhunden. Should the s be in the word?

The "s" should be there. (It's not a word I have ever heard used, though.)
