I noticed GalaxyShield has his vacation flag up, so I looked at his message, it read:

"GalaxyShield is on vacation and says...
I'm currently in the hospital with lung problems. I should be home and moving in a couple of days. Please don't time me out, but I understand, if you do."

I noticed he has 537 games in Progress. I am sure he is playing several hundred different opponents.

I for one would find it in poor taste to time him out in light of his health problems.

It is my sincerest wish that he has a speedy recovery.

Hope he's ok also, but let's not burn anyone who DOES time him out... many people don't even read these vacation messages and forums, and I'm sure several of his games are under an AUTO TIME OUT rule.

I wouldn't time him out but my two games with him are tourney games which are, of course, out of my control.

I just had discovered his situation, and thought I might make it known he has good reason not to move.

It really is only a matter of time until he suffers a MASSIVE ratings drop the likes of which has not been seen since DustNRogers. But that's what you get when you single-handedly play approx. 3% of the active RHP population.

Edit: I guess it would be closer to 1.5% if we assume he has two games with each player, but you get the point.

or the last time gs had health issues. but don't worry folks, he'll be back in no time. and for those concerned about his possible rating drop affecting their rating, he does bounce back in 2-3 weeks after he starts playing again. the last time we started a game when he was 1200-1300 I think, but in two weeks or so he broke 1700 again...
