This is an absolutely horrible story! 1st, how could an 11 yr old get into a club, 2nd, how can a 15yr old boy get into a club, 3rd point, how do they not know that sex leads to pregnancy, 4th point, 20a day is disgusting and how can an 11yr old get served for cigarettes, 5th point why is the mother proud? If that was my child I would send the baby off for adoption and ground the 12yr old until she was 18! Its disgusting how this can happen!

My wife's cousin in New Brighton (across the Mersey from Liverpool) has taken it upon herself to rescue from the depths of Chavdom no less than three children--a set of two-year-old twins and a nine-month-old--all at once; their mother having decided to stay with their abusive father rather than raise them. The cousin's husband is now permanently grumpy.
I went to a home this week to visit this 45 year old guy with lung cancer which he blamed on years of oxy-contin abuse. Married to four different women. One of whom he was married to three different times. The worst part of this was his offering a cigarette to a 14 month old grandchild. The great irony in all this was that this guy would get enraged at the kid for trying to turn on his oxygen machine. It's a strange world when a 14 month old has more damn sense than a grown adult.

I'm no expert on this, but I'm guessing that her body has released hormones to ensure that the pregnancy stays and I would bet that the fetus is sending hormonal messages to the rest of the "process" and she will develop some breasts, but I don't know how much milk she would produce. I'm guessing not as much as a well developed 30 year old.

Oh and they love to look at pictures of naked 18 year-olds with fake breasts on page 3. The pseudo journalists who write for that paper are just cheap writers who love sensationalism but do not often bother to check their facts.

Our society evolved to make us better than that. In the animal kindom, puberty (so to speak) made the specimen an adult. With humans, puberty makes us teens. It is up to humans to follow the general thinking of society. Now, if we believe teen girls are too young to get pregnant, then we should work to prevent it. Some people have posted that technically, they are ready the day they are capable. But if society thinks it's wrong to get a teen pregnant then it is wrong.
On the other side, why do we think it is wrong to get a teen pregnant? Because our brains have become too developed for our own good. The whole psycological effect of puberty makes teens do weird things. Society evolved to help our children though these times. Back in Shakespeare's time, it wasn't uncommon to have a 15 year old marry a 17 year old. But the whole stress factor made these forced marriges not work. Over time, we let our children stay home until they had stopped developing and were stable both emotionally and physically.
I am deeply sickened to see this story, and even worse, there are some people who think this is cool, maybe not on RHP, maybe there are some here. What teens do now; sex, drugs, alcohol, smoking, rebbelion, the whole nine yards, is getting to a point where society may believe they are ready for the world as teens. The media isn't any help, parents are getting more irresponsible, peers distort what is right and wrong, people pressure you to be successful, your parents pressure you to be who they want you to be, you feel pressure to be bigger, better, and richer, and finally, you have your own body to worry about after all you have been through to keep yourself shallow. One day, we as a society will grow up and take the pressure off, disipline our children, punish the wrong, reward the right, and stop being so God damned shallow of everyone.
How many people kill themselves every year because of what someone else thought of them? Now how many want to kill themselves, probably, more than you think. How o you measure success? How many commercials have you seen that tell you that you need to look better? What is the purpose of makeup? Why do we pay so much money for breast implants and male enhancement, when better things could have been accomplished. Why do some people get the sudden urge to kill another, over a fence or a scratched car? What made us so flawed that we constantly murder our fellow species? Have you murdered anyone lately? Why not? Because it is wrong, tell that to President Bush. Tell that to Osama Bin Laden. Tell that to Sadam Hussein. Tell that to the insane man weilding a knife. Humans need to grow up and figure out that we are what we are today because of our own doing. If money is only a measure of a person's value, why do we steal it? If sex is for pleasure, then why is money an exchange for it. Why do husbands and wives cheat on each other? Why do teens believe their parents don't know what is best for them? Why do parents not care about wat is best for children? Why? What is wrong with us?
One day, I hope that everyone will look back to this post and realize our thinking needs to change. We can't be perfect, but we can't live being the worst. I hope someone learned something today. And if possible, go to that girl's house and give them something to think about. And tell the newspaper where to shove it.
