"The mother-to-be, who smokes up to 20 cigarettes a day according to the newspaper, said she hoped the baby would be a boy."
Charming. A pregnant eleven year old with a pack a day cigarette habit. I predict great things for her child.

There was a 12 year old girl here in town last year that wound up pregnant from a boy in her class. Both in grade 5. Both had two parents that worked shift work and and were left unattended a great deal of the time. It was truly heartbreaking for the parents. Can't imagine a mother who would be proud of their daughter for such an "accomplishment" if you could ever use such a word to describe a 12 year old pregnant child.

The cousin's husband is now permanently grumpy.
Just as well. Nothing in her breast milk but nicotine. I'm a big proponent of breast feeding, but in this case I'd just put the kid up for adoption. A merciful end to a bad situation.

Originally posted by Freddie2006I'm no expert on this, but I'm guessing that her body has released hormones to ensure that the pregnancy stays and I would bet that the fetus is sending hormonal messages to the rest of the "process" and she will develop some breasts, but I don't know how much milk she would produce. I'm guessing not as much as a well developed 30 year old.
