mlprior calls them Baking Powder Biscuits, we always called them buttermilk biscuits. Although I'm not a purist... pillsbury biscuits out of a can are just as good without all the fuss.

well you guys do use cookies a lot more often than british people...not being either american or british....and having spent a little time in america and a lot of time talking to americans i know the differences in the two languages.

I find it difficult to get the consistency of the dough just right.
So yeah, I'm a big fan of the ones in a can. 🙂
