106. Sheila looked at him with her soft sweet innocent little helpless girl pout and said, "B . ..bu .. . but, . . . sh . .sheee said . ..said (sob) that she beat you in under 30 moves each time. that you play like a little girl." Her chin was quivering, a tear in her eye. She obviously felt so sorry for the poor poor boris. Whatever can he possibly do?

108. Natashas retort was just as caustic. " But Boris, Rocky said that you and Bullwinkle....oh never mind that's why your last name is Badenov. I will never again play ATB with you.....ever and should we go canoing again, which is very unlikely, I will not put my paddle in the water." Sheila couldn't believe her ears. What could have caused two "friends" to become so angry with eachother?

109. As Sheila contemplated that question the sun broke through a small hole that had appeared in the darkened window. Boris slumped to the floor, a dart imbedded in his neck. Before Natasha had time to react a second hole appeared and she too fell to the floor from the same "injury". Just as suddenly a figure came through the door and with a deft flick of it's left hand the ropes that had bound Sheila to the chair loosened off and she was free. The figure pointed to the door and the two left quickly before their captures had time to recover. They made their way down the stairwell and found the front entrance where a limo waited. The figure motioned to Sheila to enter the opened door of the limo as it got into the front seat passenger side. When both were in the limo sped off at breakneck speed to where and with whom she had no idea.

110. She simply glanced over, once sitting safely in the plush limo, and said, "well, you certainly took your time. i was beginning to get concerned."

111. "come, darling," Doyle said with a coy smile and lilt in his cheerful voice, "surely you knew that we were two steps ahead of them the entire time."

112. Sheila sighed, resigned to the realities of Doyle's genius and the limitations of the pathetic enemy and their pathetic shallow attack. "Still, that was too close. I wasn't sure that you'd be able to track us and break their defenses, given the worldwide power outage."

113. And Doyle, basking in the moment, explained, "Well, my dear, it's quite elementary. Once they blasted their coordinated satellite-born electromagnetic pulses to wipe out all electronic functionality on planet earth, they also wiped out their OWN electronics. They underestimated Fritz 27 - the latest version."

114. "The latest version?" asked Sheila, her eyebrows revealing a little inquisitive crinkle in her stunningly beatiful face.

115. Are those the first signs of a maturing face, thought Doyle? "Well, my dear, Fritz 27 isn't scheduled for release for at least 5 years, but, that doesn't mean it doesn't exist." he said with all of the seriousness of the Joker in a deck of cards, pointing to his head.

116. OF COURSE! Sheila broke out in a laugh realizing that the electronic version of Fritz would be "on-the-Fritz" (not working, for our international translators) with the electronic "wipe out" (electromagnetic pulse destruction of electronic functionality, for those who are latecomers to this), but not the electrophysiological Fritz inside the programmer's mind! Doyle had the advantage the entire time. He had not only planted "the poison pill" that led to the deception of the phoney transfers, but also called all the shots that the enemy was playing well in advance.

119. "Surprize, dear." Doyle answered with an even more coy and mysterious smile as the limo pulled up to a small hut. Out walked Ben.
