I love GHII, and Rock Band. I enjoy GH3, too, and I will buy the downloadable content for it. That said, based on the way they handled GH3, I don't trust Neversoft not to destroy the spirit of the franchise in the future. I trust Harmonix to do the thing right.

BTW, rb, Harmonix has said that Rock Band will be coming for the Wii next year.

That was a great episode.

I'm fascinated and appalled by the idea that someone could use the internet and game systems to play virtual guitar in a virtual rock band, do virtual drugs, and have virtual sex with virtual groupies.

What's impossible is the Dragonforce song, "Through the Fire and Flames". Good Lord, I'm almost done with the game on expert, but I can't beat this song on hard yet.

DragonForce has got to be one of the funniest things I've ever considered mentally. They sound like someone recorded the heart and mind of a 13-year old boy and played it back at 4x the speed.

Maybe I need to hear the song in the context of the rest of the album. I know people really like it.

I don't know many people who like playing it in GH3, though.
