We have an "understanding" in our home. Whoever cooks the meal the other does the dishes (those which are not put in the dishwasher of course).

LOL....Hey dishwasher is cheating...never use mine!!!

Besides I find the good china and glasses get scratched in dishwasher. It is a brand new dishwasher, never been used.

Maybe you could have paid less for the place if you'd negotiated a discount if they'd removed it as it was something you really didn't want/need.

It was brand spanking new same as the other appliances fridge, stove, washer and dryer. Why would I want to get rid of it? Just because I am not using it doesn't mean no one else will down the road. 😉

Like most things, if you don't use it, you lose it (things will seize up or dry up).

Your above statement is why I asked...IF something has never been used what is there to seize up? A new Car for example sometimes sits in a lot for years before it is sold. 😉 A used car the same could be said!!!
