I've heard the rumour that The Hoff is to appear on an episode of ITV1's police drama "The Bill".

Has anyone else heard this rumour and/or can anyone substantiate it?

As leader of the The Irish Brigade of the David Hasselhoff fan club Clan, and also being his illegitimate son, i can say with certainty that i haven't a clue.

Did a search around and could not find anything to indicate that he is going to appear in "The Bill". Only thing I could find was that his character name was Bill (Dr William 'Snapper' Foster) in "The Young and the Restless".

"Knight Rider" (movie) is in production though and he appears to be in the cast.

Yes, I couldn't find anything either, apart from Bill Hoff, the NASCAR driver.

I think The Hoff is going to play Devon (sp?) in the new Knight Rider Movie.

I wonder if Garth and C.A.R.R. will make an appearance?

I spotted the Hoff for real a while ago, in Strada Restaurant near Leicester Square. Must have been while he was doing Chicago.

He walked past our table on the way to the bathroom.

My friend hovered near his table later on in the evening and reported that he heard the Hoff talking about his fanbase in Germany.

Of course he's got a fanbase in Germany. Without the Hoff, Germany would still be divided by the Berlin wall.

Germany was never divided by the Berlin Wall. Berlin was.

Good call. At least someone knows their history here. Funny how many people think the entire country was divided by a huge concrete wall. ๐Ÿ™„

The name "Berlin Wall" kind of gives it away. ๐Ÿ˜‰ And to say that Germany would still be divided without the Hoff sounds rather ridiculous (okay, it's probably not meant entirely seriously either). Some Germans would prefer it ("it" meaning Germany still being divided), though. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Sadly that is true.
A lot of eastern germans are very badly off at the moment, with very high unemployment. Many off them are saying they were better off under Soviet rule. Back then they weren't allowed to travel and now they can't afford it. But at least everyone had work. Saying that, there are many germans from the east who have managed to cope very well with the new situation

In the west, it is usually just arrogance and ignorance that leads to people making fun of the east.

BUT, a Hoff tour of Germany would definately raise spirits everywhere.

One thing is strange... Having googled "Hasselhoff Berlin Wall", I found out that he allegedly had a concert at the Brandenburg Gate on New Year's Eve 1989. I was at the celebration, but I can't remember a concert... Hmmm... Maybe I heard Hasselhoff without noticing. ๐Ÿ™„

His songs are very unnoticable.
