I'm not sure how it can be good enough without Peter Jones as the voice of the book. Apparently Stephen Fry is stepping up to the plate, which is a fine choice, but it'll still feel weird.

Then a tv series that with its mixture of bad acting, poor props was great to watch.
The books win hands down and I only hope that with modern film making technology Douglas Adams story is returned to the masses.
