did us fellas have massive beards full of yesterdays lunch?

was our human life expectancy short because our hair grew too long?

People used knives/shortswords, ect to cut thier hair. And didja know that Alexander The Great was the 1st person to start shaveing? He had an inabillity to grow a beard, so rather then look foolish with stubble he took a knife and shave it. His lackys and friends decided to do the same to make Alexander feel more comfertable.

Other reasons why you might wanna keep hair short:

- People's tendancy to want to play with it
- Various sticky items can get stuck in it
- People tie it to things
- Less drying time when wet
- You will have more blind spots to look out for while driving or in every day life if you decide to keep it down. People like to take advantage of those kinds of things,

Yes... now you see the reasons why I also decided to cut my hair short with.... *Extreme close up* a longsword-cleaver! 😀

from wikipedia:

... Before World War I men generally had longer hair and beards. The trench warfare between 1914 and 1918 exposed men to lice and flea infestations, which caused the order for hair to be cut short, establishing a norm that has persisted. Hair care for humans is a major world industry with specialized tools, chemicals and techniques. In most societies, people style or adorn their hair for aesthetic reasons and often have it cut or removed by shaving or other means. In some, women usually shave their legs, armpits and the entirety or just parts of the pubic area, and shape their eyebrows. Shaving or trimming male body hair is sometimes jokingly called "manscaping".

Obviously you didn't know that eating an Angel's hair will make you live forever.
