I just came up with a new process at work that will stop the use of 100,000 sheets of A4 every year. Squaccerman "Friend of the Trees".
Also I cycle to work.
Am I the greenest chess player here, has anyone else made a contribution to saving the planet?

Hey me too! It's like we're world saving brothers connected by an invisible mind bridge.
I'm a LEED accredited design professional. LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, and is an accreditation program for folks involved in the building design and construction industry to promote sustainability in design and construction. It's run by the folks at the USGBC (US Green Building Council - www.usgbc.org).
I just got through designing an office building renovation for the US government here in DC where (among other things) we're capturing the rainwater that lands on the roof of the building to use for flushing toilets & urinals and also for irrigation on the site. I have another project under construction right now near Baltimore, Maryland for a German company, where we're using some innovative techniques to significantly reduce the energy costs for cooling the building.
I may not be the greenest RHPer, but I'm certifiably green.
(Oh, and I own an SUV, so I'm not completely green - but the car I use for most of my driving is a little 4-cylinder gas sipper.)
