That post has no meaning. Duh.
Kirby Pucket on the other hand - who you mentioned - there was a player. I miss him and didn't even know him. Saw him play a lot though and I still have my Wilson A2000 Kirby Pucket glove. RIP indeed.

i don't hate him but i hate what he did to the game and i hate that my little boy has to be a young baseball fan in an era when these scumbags changed the meaning of the game.
and yes, rip, kirby puckett. kirbdog was my hero as a kid. i still have a bookful of his rookie cards. what an awesome player to watch.

A real, real, real lot. I wish Roger Clemens would brain him, Mike-Piazza style, and make him permanently four years old mentally. They can do a piece on him once a year throwing sand in his sandbox or playing pattycake with his adult-care giver.

I'm not weeping over Pucket. He was a great player, but he played the media and fans like a violin. He was mean, cheap, and a womanizer. Not that I'm condeming him for that, but he presented himself as such a virtuous family man the whole time he was having gf's all over town. He was just another guy. No pedestal for Kirby.

Originally posted by no1marauderYou gotta be kidding! The National League is the oldest league. The NL doesn't need designated hitters because their pitchers are expected to produce aside from just pitching. The AL is a league with crutches (designated hitter)......plus the yankees are gay, and so is the Bronx. Go Mets!!
That's the one.
