I don't know; it wasn't the Atlanta Braves...please enlighten me. I don't care about the Boston or Milwaukee Braves, as you can't classify them the same way one could the Anaheim Angels of Los Angeles with last years Anaheim Angels. Bobby Cox out manages Joe Torre every year using mid-level players and a lousy bull-pen. The "Aura" and enthusiasm of Bobby Cox outshines the corpse-like appearance of Joe Torre anytime...nothing personal against Joe; he'a a likeable guy, plus he used to be a Brave, so he's got some worth to him...

The Yankees didn't sweep the 96' Series. The final game count was 4-2 Yankees.

I didn't say they did; I said "What team has lost 8 straight World Series games to the New York Yankees?"

That would be Chance's Atlanta Braves.

thats right man, the past is the past. go phillies! and if Bonds is about to pass Babe Ruth I'm going to run out on the field and hit him upside the head with a Louisville Slugger (I'll have to use aluminum because his roided up head would just break the wood bat)

5 years is nothing. At least the Yanks are playing games that mean something after June.

Seems they've "got it done" 26 times, far more than any other franchise. People crying about how their team doesn't have any money have my sympathy; perhaps you could start tithing to the Pittsburgh Pirates. The Yankees' income derives from their loving and loyal fans, 'tis a pity that they have more of them then the Toronto Blue Jays.
Pirates don't need no stinkin' tithing from the Yankees😛 As a Yankee fan can you say "Berra can only turn and watch as Mazeroski's fly ball clears the wall?" Then again maybe you're not old enough to remember those days...or choose not to
