trust me, let them stay up for as long as they like and then wake them up at 6am.
I think you're onto something there. . .

I remember when I was a kid and I kept my folks up at night. A good ass beating made me sleep. 😕

did you at least make them wear protection?

When I was a kid, my folks said, and I did. No threat of violence, no slaps, no withdrawal of pocket money. I just respected them. My mother had to give me the slipper once, when I was well out of order. Oher than that, me and my brother, we just toed the line.

No, they buggered me without a condom. 😕

They, well three of them, are playing a game called heads up thumbs down where one lies down and the others decide one to pinch them and they have to guess who it was. The other two (the one who was asleep, wasn't after all) are upstairs getting too loud.
At least they've all brushed their teeth. It's going to be a long night 🙁

sorry dude that must have been tough... i mean if they're wearing a condom you at least know they're not enjoying it as much as they could be.

I wouldn't say it was idylic. We had the odd tantrum and barny and that. We just knew that when our parents raised their voices, they meant it.

Well it's all about control and its all pyschological really isn't it. Some kids just know that they can do what they like. Especially over the last 15-20 years.

It's all gone bonkers!!!!!

To have an understanding is ideal then, that's what I mean. When their dad shouts they stop but I can be shouting and shouting threats of no pudding, no tv, no wii, no playstation, no swimming, etc, ect and they carry on. If they get too noughty, like hurt eachother, then I sit them on the stairs for minutes according to their years which is just time to calm down really. It would be so lovelly to not have to do that, maybe when they're older.

All's quiet...for now!
