It's fine that you smoke pot or whatever. What you do in your spare time is no business of mine (or anyone else's), unless you're a neurosurgeon or an air-traffic controller or something like that. On the other hand, unless you're in a rock band or something, drugs have no place in a productive office environment. I hate corporate sheep more than just ab ...[text shortened]... others. That whole, "he smokes pot, yeah, he's cool" thing is pretty dumb.

I just checked the last 30 pages of posts I made. I referred to marijuana or weed twice. Both times someone else brought it up. Once was here, and once was in a thread named "Stoned Chess".
What are you talking about?
Originally posted by AThousandYoungA lot. Aren't you the one who thinks the cops have no right to hassle you for breaking the law by smoking pot because you have a right to happiness, etc.? The police have a duty to enforce the law, so it's tough to put this on them. My position is more that the citizens have no right to make anti-drug laws.
I suspect you're just obsessed with my marijuana use versus my atheism, or my nationality, my age, my education, my Shub-Niggurath theme, my location, my skin color, my heritage or any number of things about myself I have posted about. I'm not sure why you singled it out, but whatever.

I know nothing about your theme, location, skin color, heritage, or anything else you may have posted, perhaps because it didn't particularly stand out. Had I had some sort of obsession, I'm sure I would have taken notes to better observe you as a well-rounded person. Or whatever.

anyone but yourself. Smoke crack, have gay unprotected sex, worship Satan...whatever. The problem I have is when people make something like pot smoking a central part of their identity. Plenty of people on this site smoke, but they do it quietly, on their own time. They think it's enjoyable, but it's not their identity. They don't brag about it any more than you would brag about using salad dressing.

You didn't pick up my location or nationality from that. You didn't pay attention to my argument, and weren't interested in discussing it whether you agreed or not. These things aren't important to you. You're not into your country or it's heritage. You aren't a philosophical type.
You didn't want to discuss the method I used for conveying my argument to the police.
Out of all that, what mattered to you was the marijuana, when the post was about the violation of inalienable rights in YOUR country - which is based on the belief in such rights.
You're not obsessed with me, you hate marijuana users for some reason and you think we should be ashamed of ourselves and hide the fact that we smoke bud. Well - deal with it. I looked at my post history and in no way do I feel I flaunt the fact that I smoke marijuana. If you feel I do, I think you're overly sensitive and I'm not going to worry about your strange little complex.
