I remember the stench from her dry-suit! ... 😕
I only used a dry suit once, during my training. It was in an old torpedo testing gully near Portsmouth, 6 metres down kneeling on a platform for 40 minuets doing skills like mask removal in 6 degree green water with 2 metres of visibility. Everything else I dived after that was blue water, 23 degrees+ and teeming with exotic sea life.

My ex did all her BSAC training in minimum visibility; gravel pits and muddy estuaries.
Never did see the attraction!
I enjoyed some easy snorkelling in Med but never went deeper than 2m. !!

BSAC divers are “proper” divers, whereas us PADI divers are tourists.

Brexit is good for me personally.I had a nice few days break in England a few weeks ago and still surprised how cheap everything was compared to before the referendum. Also,I am still free to live and work anywhere in Europe as a right. And this right extends to places like Guadeloupe, for example, which is very tempting at the moment.
My post was only pointing out that the new car smell can be harmful and the EU has researched to protect people from these toxic chemicals.

I am aware of the intent of your post; but thanks anyway.
