I enjoyed some easy snorkelling in Med but never went deeper than 2m. !!

I tried to snorkel to the bottom of Fresh Creek in the Bahamas where I worked and lived on Andros Island, working at AUTEC. Lots of junk on the bottom and the water was clear as glass, old motors, bicycles, lots of junk, thought I could get down to all that stuff but no luck. I dove down as far as I could go and head almost getting squished had to go back up, gave up that bit🙂 I do remember the smell of the dock on the AUTEC side of Fresh Creek though, I lived in Cokeley Town and worked on AUTEC. Now there is a bridge but back in the day you had to bribe 'Premier' a fifth of rum to take you across Fresh Creek in his little boat unless you got free ride at 5 AM and 5 PM, totally filled with natives. I should say overfilled🙂
