Don't make random moves, think about what you want to achieve. Tactics are important, but you won't become an expert without long-term planning. I hope this helps. 😉

I think the aim of living in people can be very briefly categorised into four types:
1) Living for experiences, observation and gaining knowledges in order to synthesise something new or come up with lots of thoughts;
2) Living to solve immediate or long-term probelms in the world;
3) Living, just for living, aimless, wondering, possibly pleasure seeking;
4) Living mainly for pleasure-seeking, getting self-esteems from materials, never care about strangers or the world s/he is living in.
The point 1) and 2) are related and can occur together in synergy, 3) and 4) are dangerously close. But when things don't go well, even a highly motivated people with good aspects of 1)2) can suffer to go down to the level of 3) or even 4), because people need comfort now and again when tired, and also depression can affect anyone by one reason or another.

Life is a highway!
Just hop on and see where it takes you, and always drive 10 over the speed limit! That way, you see more people as you pass them by.
I wanna ride it all night long
If you're going my way
I wanna drive it all night long

I used work in a cafe and a few restaurant, and met lots of interesting people there. But I avoid going to Stxxbxxxx, 'cos a seemingly friendly stranger gave me a hard time by pickpocketting my purse from my jacket. Watch out for one like that.
