That is, if ever you need lessons, in how to kiss proper butt on your job
interview. Here they are:

&mode=related&search=

I've always been fascinated that we live in a time and age where if you
can remember to send thank you notes to job interviewers, being socially
pleasant and so on, you can get a job that otherwise takes actual skill. If
Mary walks into the room and tells me she's an experienced
XP-programmer (that's eXtreme Programming, not Windows) but she's
completely cold and distant as a person, then Jimmy walks in there with
his overly positive attitude, saying: "Hey, I know the basic meaning of it,
and I'm eager to try it out and learn more about it, sure...", then sends
me a card thanking me for the interview, am I supposed to hire Jimmy,
and not Mary?

I don't know, that's just an odd line of thinking for me.

Also, what if Mary's got a nice rack?

But as a man who works daily with an army of highly skilled, utterly cantankerous cynics who had an early sense of humour bypass...........I'd pick the clueless one with a personality any day 🙂

LMFAO! Why don't you just make friends with that person and go for a beer
in the pub instead? That way you can enjoy a few good laughs, and
work with highly skilled, utterly cantankerous cynics who had an early sense
of humour bypass! 😵

Man, that was funny.

Honestly, I'd rather not interact socially with my coworkers. Mary gets the job. Rack or no rack.

Leaving the hiring to others doesn't really solve the issue. Comprehend?
