"King of the Cats" is a traditional children's story.

The lion's epithet is "King of the Jungle"
(even though they don't live in jungles!)

I do know lions travel in packs, where the tiger travels alone.

The lion is the only cat to live in a pack (pride) although some can be solitary.
All other cats live alone.

Our cats (currently 2) live with us and our 3 dogs.

Vacuuming is a constant in our home. I've suggested that we might start keeping the "hair" and make sweaters or scarfs out of them...OK I don't knit, sew or crochet but then I am the one who comes up with the ideas.

Yes, be nice to make a profit from the hair some how....Those vet bills can be expensive for sure! 😉 Not to mention the fact they want to eat every day....LOL....

My daughter is a vet so I get a break there but the food. BTW the dogs are not of the "lap" variety.

Lucky you having a daughter who is a vet!...Food can be expensive though for both cats and dogs. Well I guess you already know that one! 🙂

I suppose they can't travel as much with all the animals needing care, so that's where some of the money comes from. 🙂

I'd say with the daughter a vet, they have a built in babysitter for the critters! 😉

I suppose you can't rely on other people too much. I don't know of anybody among my friends who would look after my dog, if I had one, and not a cat either.

There are also people who are alergic to cat or dog hair or both seomtimes.
