International Women's Day is part of the solution.

The his/her pronouns are part of the problem.

divegeester and Sahuaro are anonymous online chess players. Are you sure of their genders ...? How?

Good for women (you know they may even make the wages even now!)

"Do you (Merlion) believe that a writer in the RHP forums is equally likely to be a woman as a man?"

I believe it does not matter. Writer is enough. He/she his/hers just muddles the value of the of the writing.

Which I thought was your point too.

It is not up to me to excuse not not excuse. divegeester is a sub (which is more than I can say for you, who last moved 390 days 1 hour and 13 minutes ago - why are you here, to criticize the rest of us or to play chess?).

He/she has paid $39.95 (American) per year to say whatever he/she wants. How is criticizing diveegester's posts valuable to anyone? Maybe we can let everyone decide for themselves.

You and I are on the same side here Duchess64, but the difference is I think International Women's Day has value in itself, without us devaluing other opinions.

I owe my very existence to a woman. 😕

As a man I strive to make the women in my life feel appreciated every day. I am no saint so I fall short, but I think I do the best I can. 🙂
