And now you're even more fortunate, as you get to experience Firefox 2 straight away. Internet Explorer sucks the sweat off dead men's private parts.

Thanks for reminding me. I forgot to get 2.0, just intalled it now, I'm amazed at how easy it was to get updates for all my extensions. Love it to pieces. They should integrate tab mix plus right into the package though. I can't think of a reason why it's still an add-on.

By the way, if anyone like me was disappointed that the tab session extension didn't work in 2.0, here's another one that does work:

https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1774/

Or does tab session work now? 😕 Never mind, I like this one.

Tab session extension not working? Get tab mix plus.

https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1122/

In fact, if you don't have tab mix plus, hit yourself in the face with brick.

I've seen that, but I don't really need all that much. Just to be able to close
my browser, and then when I reopen it continue where I was. That's all I
need. *

Why did I have to hit myself again? 😕

(For the last two weeks or so I've been using Opera more than Firefox for
this very reason. I'm glad to be back behind ff again. 😏 )

I made the switch, and am LOVING IT! When I get the time, I'm going to start asking about all them 'toys' everyone talks about.

One thing I'm using is tabs. Wow! WOWOWOW!

GET FIREFOX! Never thought I'd be spouting that.

I guess I was late, you've made a wise decision.

Apparently, I made a fool of myself here. 😳

I've uninstalled that addon and now use:

Tools->Options...->Main

When firefox starts: Show my windows and tabs from last time

🙂

Herad a lot about this but have no idea what it does - can you give a 10 word synopsis of it?

Go to the link and it tells you in the first short paragraph. A few more than ten words though.

It allows us to extend the functionality of web pages through scripting.
There's a whole host of scripts available to extend the functionality of this
site, thanks to ouroboros (User 46487):

I use SessionSaver, and the settings got set back when I updated Firefox. I didn't know what was happening when I opened Firefox the next time (that was a while after I had updated it, so I had forgotten all about it) and got the Firefox homepage and no tabs. But now I have changed the settings again, and everything is working fine.

If Firefox came as standard with every windows pc, then people who knew anything about browsing the net would laugh at you long & hard if you suggested downloading Microsoft's wonderous IE as a replacement!
