I use SessionSaver, and the settings got set back when I updated Firefox. I didn't know what was happening when I opened Firefox the next time (that was a while after I had updated it, so I had forgotten all about it) and got the Firefox homepage and no tabs. But now I have changed the settings again, and everything is working fine.
Are you saying that SessionSaver works for you under 2.0? ๐Ÿ˜• It didn't for
me, since it was only compatible with 1.x as far as I can tell. But it doesn't
matter any more since it turned out Firefox 2.0 had built-in support for
saving tabs between sessions (perhaps 1.x had that too, but I managed to
miss it completely). ๐Ÿ™‚

Um, I just checked what version of Firefox I am running, and it's 1.5.0.8. I just assumed the last update had updated me to the same version as other people got. Maybe the update to 2.0 isn't automatic?

What's New in Firefox 2

Resuming your browsing session: The Session Restore feature restores windows, tabs, text typed in forms, and in-progress downloads from the last user session. It will be activated automatically when installing an application update or extension, and users will be asked if they want to resume their previous session after a system crash.

Beware before you update to a new major version. It could be that some of
the extensions you love no longer works. SessionSaver is obviously not
needed any more. And I know linkification and greasemonkey work
excellent in 2.0. Other than, since I'm not a heavy user of extensions, I
have no idea.

Good luck. ๐Ÿ™‚

Yes, that is to be expected, I suppose. ๐Ÿ™‚

Well, I just installed FF 2.0, and everything seems to work fine. The only problem I have had so far is that the install button on ouroboros' script pages is missing for some reason, so I had to go to the main page and install (update) them from there.

I hope they're going to update some of the themes.
I miss this one in particular:
