A couple of days ago I upgraded to Internet explorer 7 at my machine's suggestion without really thinking what i'm doing.
Now, every time I fire up the application it takes me, not to my home page but to
http://runonce.msn.com/runonce2.aspx
where it asks me to input my settings.
However often I do this it just keeps asking again and again. Every time. Every single time I try to log onto the web.
If anybody can help me solve this problem I'll be eternally grateful. It's driving me absolutely potty.
ps: not sure if this is the best forum for this post or not. Hopefully it's ok here.

ie 7 doesn't normally work like you describe, and I couldn't find any similar experiences with a quick googling. what I'm getting at, is that it might not be ie-related to begin with.

Have checked the Virgin site (my broadband provider) and it looks like it's them. Have ordered a new DVD to load their gubbins back on to my computer so IE7 will work.
Not that I'm going to run it anyway. Think I'll give this Firefox thingy a go. In the meantime, I've uninstalled IE7 and got 6 working so I can type this.
Thanks for everybody's help and suggestions.
Life was simpler when computers had 5k (yes that's k not mb) of memory.
duller too though.
