For years, I have had Internet Explorer 6 or so. I just updated to 7 and am having a heck of a time getting used to it. Is there a way to make it look like the older version?

Better yet, how would I uninstall it and go back to the older version?

If you want my advice, get used to IE7.

Microsoft stopped supporting IE6 years ago which means that using it is an ever increasing security risk. The lack of regular Microsoft patches and updates leaves you far more vulnerable to virus, trojans and other nasty software.

While you're forced to switch browsers, consider getting Firefox.

Firefox saved my life by pulling me from a burning well.

Try system restore going back to the time before you installed it.

Try to get used to it - it really will be worth it long term.

Older browsers will eventually fail to receive security updates, leaving your machine exposed as flaws are discovered. Also, web sites will eventually stop testing on older browsers.

edit : Not sure what you would object to in IE7 after using IE6?
