Inviolable Law
"Remember that the rights of the savage, as we call him. Remember that the happiness of his humble home, remember that the sanctity of life
in the hill villages of Afghanistan, among the winter snows, is as inviolable in the eye of Almighty God as can be your own." -W.E. Gladstone
Any significant inalienable human rights application to the internet in general or, in particular, to the Red Hot Pawn Public Forums?

'Twas my way of saying: "Bug off."
(Another quote.)
But to elaborate, "herd" seems to come across as a derogatory term in that context, and I do resent its application here.
Wouldn't it be much better just to speak for yourself, that way you don't appear to be part of a herd.
You must see how the connection was made?
Right away I saw it.
I'm just a guy who likes intelligent threads with a bit of humanity behind them. And irony. Like irony.
Movie quotes. Like that too.
So when I see someone standing up against the "transferred nationalism" so prevalent today, and for the oppressed, with an ironic use of a quote from Gladstone, I have to be supportive.
Did you not get my original quote was from 'Taxi Driver'? Consider the scene from the film. What was DeNiro's motivation?

That subject has already been addressed in this thread.
Inviolable Law: RHP threads never stay on topic.
Have you any comments on Bob's subject?
I don't know how Bob's posts can be considered self-serving, seeing that he is a medical invalid who is in his 60's, and has no agenda other than keeping himself interested in life.
However, I have noticed that, unlike most forums I read, this site's posters have an extremely limited attention span, preferring to make ?witty? comments rather than focus on the issues at hand. Certainly there are always few jokers in every forum. Don't misinterpret me on that. And on the Only Chess forum, pertinent comments seem to hold (for the most part). However, this forum is challenging the Clan Forum for the number of meaningless and unreasoned comments, at least in response to GB's threads. (Probably could never get that bad though.)
And your clever play on words is not that clever. VR and I have no relationship.
(Unless he insists one uses the spellchecker, as I do! F-a-c-e-t)
Pirates finally get a complete game tonight!
Are you a Mets or a Yankees fan? Edit: Cross off Mets. I just looked at your profile!
(See? Short attention span for me as well.)
