I enjoy bowling but I don't consider it a "sport". Okay, I sweat sometimes when I bowl but that can be attributed to too many beers & cigs (fags, for the Brits) and the busted (again!) A/C. Whatcha think?

Crown green or ten pin? Not that it makes a great difference to the argument? 🙂

Edit: we tend to call 'cigs' 'cigs' as well. Unless we're feeling frisky. 😉

Ten pin. No sport, right?

My mind instantly says 'No Sport'
Just as it does with chess. People can argue definitions until they're blue in the face, but definately 'NO SPORT!'

Definitions are what tell you what a word means. Otherwise, rain on your wedding day is ironic and yes does mean no.

You are confusing athletics with sports.

I refute that. I have never been confused in my loaf.

{EDIT} Stop multi threading.

If it's not a sport then what is it??

A hobby? no
A past time? no

It's a conundrum

Okay it's a sport but not athletic. I'll accept that. Thanks 🙂

Bowling is of Scottish origin. Like the Highland Games, it is based on obese men throwing heavy objects.

It's more of a sport than professional wrestling.
