Great minds think alike or simple minds seldom differ: I know which one I have my money on.

Yeah. That's the one. He/She created an account today and resurrected four 2 1/2 year old Bowmann threads about a fictional game called Stanley Random Chess.

I'm not buying anymore crazy today.

I did find this: (and I question the veracity of this statement as well.)

"Initially created as a hoax by Gregory Topov in 2004, it evolved into a legitimate chess variant that is actually playable on an Internet chess server. Game-play is characterized by some apparent randomness, and is usually accompanied by exaggerated and fanciful commentary which satirizes the complexity of serious chess analysis."

The whole Stanley Random Chess thing is an incredibly elaborate fabrication.

Check out this nonsense:

Unfortunately there are no legal moves available here, so I am forced to play a 'cheat' move. Cheat moves may be played at any point in the seventh dodecadent as long as the arbiter or the other player don't notice.

Brilliant eh Red?
