My folks bought me a single shot 22 for my 13th birthday. No problems there but I didn’t have “issues” and it was in the 50s. Different times/attitudes. The only thing I shot were paper targets.

Yes back in those days everyone had a gun or shotgun of some kind it was the era. We had a 22 for example which hung above the door frame to our Porch. Mainly used for hunting or scaring off wild animals as we lived in the country. Back in those days things were settled either by talking or fist fights no weapons were used back in those times, at least in my neck of the woods. Oh if you could kick that was allowed to and always one on one never a gang on one that would be broken up.

Like you gooster, trouble seems to follow me around. I go where I want when I want, just don't carry a fire arm because in the heat of the moment I could and would use it. Just that simple. I know my limitations. For example I don't know how long I could stay in a room with you before something would happen. 🙂

I would venture to say that you, along with Suzianne, would not Pass up the opportunity to be sorry. Perhaps later, showing it by sending some flowers as they lay the matter to rest.

Yes Stees, Not many if any would consider gooster a master of anything that I am aware.

Subject matter! In a proper sentence, where sorry is concerned, it has to contain the subject. The rest is elementary. Or better said in the plural, rests, if we want to, as they say, a "nail in the coffin."

As a former carpenter's apprentice, my master would tell me: "you hit the nail on the head.

Well at least not in the real world as you are probably quiet as a church mouse, and don't speak like you do on this Site. I am the same out in the real world as I am on here and still quite alive and kicking. 🙂
