krusty the great. I also love monty burns with his pre-industrial choice of words, innocent and pompous evil that's more like the scorpion & frog "it's my nature" thing, and to contrast all that he sometimes shows a glimpse of softness. like when he covers the sun to sell more electricity, and goes: "Perpetual twilight, bathed in the glow of Burns brand electricity." He jumps onto a lamppost and rhymes, "Hello, lamppost. Whatcha knowin'? I've come to watch your... power flowin'."
is sideshow bob kelsey grammer?
nice thread.
martin is also a favorite character of mine.. "i'm not gay, i'm not anything yet"
the simpsons really is one of, if not the greatest tv show ever... not a lot of programmes can keep both an audience of children and adults entertained. it's the only show that i watched when i was about 10 that i still watch today... it just gets better and better as you get older and notice the slight adult humor contents from time to time that you missed at an earlier age. otto at the end of the episode were the children strike from school "looks like this has a happy ending... just like my last massage" you just don't get that watching barney.
Originally posted by PalynkaThe idea for Krusty came from a clown called Rusty Nail. At least that's what they said in one episode. I like Willie best, he cracks me up.
Is there a better Simpsons character?
He does his show, along with his (not always) trusty Sideshow Bob but then his life off camera is not what it seems. It's a character that thinks is mission is to make people laugh, yet he either grates or is laughed at. He often mistakes this as genuine laughter due to his clowning abilities.
There is also a tragi ...[text shortened]... fe has even fuelled to psychotic behaviours once in a while.
It's simply a great character.
Rusty and Krusty look nothing alike BTW 😕
