@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidAs I have said before we don't disagree on everything and agree on more than we disagree on. Not that I keep a close track of course. π
I worry a little when we agree on things.

@rookie54 saidrookie,
a lack of reading comprehension is the most egregious abuse of regular folks
but the offender will not be able to recognise his foul
lol
You always remind me of the Riddler speaking in riddles, but yet most can understand what and who you are speaking about much of the time. It must be a gift. π

The post that was quoted here has been removedinsanity deep fries my neurons

when i think i begin to understand
i release the krakenized poet
you have merely an inkling of the vision of my consciousness, restrained within my cranium, locked inside a recycled box, tied in the kitchen of the shack, as boiling vinegar and sage cleanse my aura
@MartinS saidI concur. There are several posters who often address other posters by demeaning or diminutive monikers, or outright insults. I have a DNR list of my own (do not read/reply). Nonetheless, more stringent moderation would be welcome.
Obviously foul language is not allowed but several posters have resorted to using spelling variations of foul language to get around the RHP monitoring.
Using words that are so similar to the actual word is no different to the word itself.
My I point out three things:
1) I and I am sure, many other members don't want to see the equivalent of offensive language in the ...[text shortened]... u are setting.
I will send feedback to Russ of any member here who uses such language.

I have been guilty of being abusive in the debates forum, especially in the latter months of last year, and I’m not proud of it. However I can honestly say that I wasn’t, by any judgement, the worst, and I’ve tried to make amends for those particular stress and drink induced outbursts from late last year … but actually I have felt more remorse for being more generally antagonistic or argumentative in the forums over many years; I’ve even felt remorse to those few who being quite frank, often deserved it. Having said that it was very rare, if ever, that I used faux/foul language.
I don’t think the use of profanity is a major problem at RHP, but it’s a good discussion to be had.
