I hope this will not block my access to the site. I make my moves only at work (although I analyse mainly at home), because I have no computer/internet at home. If a firewall blocks my access then I am out...

Nothing will change on RHP. The existing site will remain the same.
The live chess component proposed (which is not really suitable for work anyway) will probably be blocked in most workplaces because of a non-standard port that is used. It really will only be a peripheral part of RHP anyway, and will not impact the existing site at all.

If the whole site gets blocked as a result, I would be upset.
Originally posted by huckleberryhounduChess will continue as it is - your uChess account has nothing to do with RHP. It is, and will continue to be, a totally separate site.
What will happen to old Uchess accounts, and will there be any problem with integration ? I have the same user name and password for both accounts, will this cause any problem ? (maybe that is a silly question, i don't know)

Initially, certainly.
But I cannot guarantee that I will keep that situation, it depends on how things work out regarding usage. The whole plan is very experimental, and subject to change at anytime.
