An AI metaverse can create an avatar of you which mimics your image, voice and mannerisms.

Gooster just letting you know your lame shot at me was NOTED: 😛 🙂

The VR tool letting people meet their loved ones after they die.

The virtual reality tool called "live forever mode" features digital avatars who can simulate a person's voice, mannerisms and movements after just 30 minutes of the user being observed.

All well and good I suppose, but I can't see the point of creating a computer double of anyone that can only exist in an artificial environment. Maybe there is use for this, but I'd prefer to be tucked quietly away and forgotten once I pass from this earth.

It has been said he has lost his better half of 30 years, so I assume in mourning for her.

As a believing Christian you cannot be forgotten, if your name is written in the Book of Life.

Mine is written in the book of cheesy jokes.

    Does that ensure my immortality?

My name is not written correctly, and I'm being told "that's just too bad."

I'm doomed too, just because some stupid angel misspelled my name.

That book has not been published in heaven, to date. But I suppose if anyone has a name written in any book, it does guarantee some sort of immortality as long as the book remains in publication.
