My brother works at Canary Wharf - how far is this from the commotion? We can't get him on the phone...

There's talk off parts of the phone network being shutdown by the authorities after the mobile phone triggered explosions in Spain.

i'm staying put in my flat near king's cross/euston.
i seem to be right in the thick of it but i reckon it's safer to stay in doors. apparently i wouldn't get anywhere anyway as everything around here is taped off.
