I have no idea where anything I went to is becasue I have a terrible sense of direction and I get lost. But I have been to an interesting market that had really great silver hand made jewelery. Many independant art gallerys. Madam Thusards (that wasn't so fantastic) seen a few plays that were good but not les misserables I didn't really enjoy that much. Ice scating, that was really fun. I had a picknic on some cathideral garden sith some freinds that was a lovelly afternoon. Ate at a restraunt called waggamammas. The science museaum is free and had so much to look at.

Did you read my other post in that page? He asked what I would do. Since I live in London and I love travelling I'd go elsewhere (and because it made a good anti-climatic joke). Nothing to do with London or England not being good places to spend time.
Originally posted by Palynkano, I hadn't read your second post- but I have now. I didn't know you lived in London either why would I?!

Seriously, what do you want to do?
Tourism? Places to stroll around? Art galleries? Bars? Pubs? Restaurants? Mexican midget wrestling? Me?
There's almost everything in London, you have to be a bit more specific.
Originally posted by trev33If the weather is good a walk in Southbank like Starrman says could be nice. Start in Tate and go east along the river, take a peek at the Borough market and check out the riverside walk after you pass Tower Bridge (southeast side). Then go back, cross the TB and have a coffee/tea in St. Catherine's Wharf. In the evening go up Brick Lane and check out the atmosphere and go to Old Street for bars with live music and for some drinking.

Or you can find my place at 10, Downing Street and stalk me.

so you have one free day/night in london... what do you do?
Assuming a Saturday...
start by going into Ain't nuthin but, http://www.aintnothinbut.co.uk/, and sign up with Niall for the open Mic session at around 12pm. That means you'll be called at about 4ish.
Once signed up, head to Match Bar on Margaret St, http://www.matchbar.com/home.php, just off Upper Regent Street for some Champagne cocktails and tasty sustenance for a couple of hours.
Return to Ain't Nuthin But and order a pitcher of beer. Find a seat, chat and wait your turn, possibly getting an Indian Head massage from one of the lovely patrons.
Bring down the house with your acapello version of Tiffany's "I think we're alone now".
Spend the rest of the evening fighting off/working through your new found groupies, and drinking more pitchers.

Get the hop on bus. It's about £20 a ticket, and takes you to all the spots you would want to see. Night time we went to Kings Cross i think (Lausey can correct me). That was not a bad ol night mate.
