Ten solid players are better than 20 half of whom bot out. Perhaps there are some keen people on the waiting list.

Gottschalk-sama is in!

I plan to be unconscious tomorrow ('otanjoubi omedetou!' 🙂 ), but,

I also plan to send the list in on Friday midday (NZ time) - can you pm me your email address and (if you plan to start as royal) your preferred starting position.

In return, I'll let you know which clan you can NOT attack. 🙂

I would have really liked to play Oda again, that nutcase was fun, however I will only be a lowly commoner again so c'est la vie.

Bosse convinced me to try again. I promise to send my turns in on time this time.

You'll also remember not to attack fortifications with too few troops, ok?

It will have depreciated considerably en route to Japan.

Actually, the price of gold quadrupled from 1257 to 1657, so he'd have it made. http://www.measuringworth.com/datasets/gold/result.php

Duke Bertram was slain in battle, though. I suppose he might have entrusted it to a banker for safe keeping. (Didn't the cost of living also quadruple? Gold doesn't go nearly as far in Shogunate as in MD...)

Definitely. Each game has its own uniquely arising circumstances and many levels of nuance.
